A Chartered Accountant since 1973 and a partner in Moore Stephens since 1978. Responsibility for a wide variety of clients and heads up the firm's not for profit client sector. Acts in an advisory capacity for start-up companies and for owner-managed businesses.
He is a Trustee of Kidscape, the children's charity, a Governor of the Bishopsgate Foundation, as well as a Trustee of the City Parochial Foundation
Educated at Uppingham School, Miles Barber is married with three children. His interests include golf, cricket, skiing, and outdoor life generally. He owns and breeds racehorses and is a member of the MCC, the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club and the Sussex Martlets. He is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Playing Cards.
