Trustee vacancies
Trustee Vacancies on City Parochial Foundation's Central Governing Body
City Parochial Foundation currently has three vacancies on its board, the Central Governing Body and is determined to improve the diversity of its board to reflect the mix of London's population.
We intend to appoint three new Trustees to the CPF board over the next year, and are looking initially to attract applications from individuals with a background in social policy having experience and/or knowledge of grass roots community development.
Applicants may already be working in charitable organisations dealing with poverty or disadvantage in ethnic minority communities, but applications will be welcomed from anyone committed to reducing the impact of poverty on marginalised groups.
The board meets four times a year, and trustees are encouraged to serve on two of the board's committees, including a grants committee. The overall time commitment is expected to be about six days a year. Trustees are not paid, but reasonable out of pocket expenses will be met. Trustees will be appointed for five years initially, renewable for a further five years.
Closing date for applications is Thursday 4 June 2009 and interviews will take place on 21 July.
If you are interested in applying to join City Parochial Foundation's Central Governing Body or would like to find out further information on the role of a Trustee please download the Trustee Recruitment Pack below:

Central Governing Body (Trustees)
Ultimate decision-making at CPF and TfL is the responsibility of the Central Governing Body (CGB), whose members are nominated for initial three year terms by a number of bodies. Efforts are made to ensure a wide range of experience and background.
The CGB has a number of standing committees dealing with specific aspects of CPF and TfL affairs including grants, asset allocation, estate; and finance, resources and investment.
